While other photographers were waiting for the magical light to take pictures of Mount Rundle. I quickly grabbed mine thinking the clouds moving in were going to take the sunlight. Then looking back of First Vermilion Lake, I noticed several elk about to cross the water. With about 400 meters between us I needed to change my lens. The light hitting the trees in the background and reflecting in the water and elk spread out helped make this picture. And soon after the light was gone and the clouds moved in.
